亲爱的留学生同学，你们好(Dear all)：

光阴似箭，岁月如梭！ 2021年秋季学期即将结束，虽然COVID-19疫情还在继续，却阻挡不了留学生们对汉语学习的热情。(Time flies! The fall semester of 2021 is drawing to a close. Although the epidemic of covid-19 continues, it cannot stop the enthusiasm of International students for learning Chinese.)

本学期，除了正常的网络课程外，我们结合同学们的学习实际安排组织了不少活动。从11月至12月，分别安排了“硬笔写汉字（10月）”“太极拳（10月）”“参观和中国京剧脸谱绘画活动(11月)”“汉语绕口令模仿秀 (11月)”“写‘福’字、包饺子文化体验活动 (12月)”“新年贺卡设计(12月)”等活动。在同学们提交的作品中，我们真切地感受到了大家对学习的热情、对生活的热爱。本学期，我们还通过微信公众号“IchineseSJTU”为同学们推出了“每周一字（周一）”“每周一句（周三）”“文化漫谈（周五）”汉语学习栏目。除此之外，我们还通过线上或线下的组织交流与互动，将中国的“中秋节”“敬老节”“冬至”等文化民俗，推介给大家。这些活动与安排，受到了广大同学们的肯定和好评！我们为同学们取得的每一个进步而高兴，并为各位的坚持不懈而点赞！同时，也感谢大家对我们工作的支持与理解！(This semester, in addition to the normal offline courses, we have organized a series of activities, including activities of " Writing Chinese characters with pen (October)"“Play Taiji (October)”“Campus visiting & Peking Opera mask painting (November)”"Tongue twister show (November)"" Chinese calligraphy practicing & Dumpling making (December)"" Making New Year Card with Chinese characters (December)". In addition, in this semester, we continue publishing the program of "One week one word (Monday)""One week one sentence (Wednesday)" and "A glance of Chinese Culture (Friday") " in the column of Chinese learning in school Wechat account" IchineseSJTU ". Meanwhile, we also introduce the traditional culture, such as "mid-Autumn Festival"" Double Ninth Festival" and " the Winter Solstice" to all students. In retrospect, we are happy for the progress made by all of us, and we really proud of your perseverance and hard-working, and here we also appreciate your support and understanding to our work! Thank you!)

【对在中国境内且已报名2022年春季学期的留学生】特别提示(Special tips for international students in China who already signed up for the spring semester of 2022):

1. 在中国境内的学生，在假期应继续增强自我防护意识，自觉减少流动，建议不进行旅游或探亲访友活动，不到人流密集地区，不到中高风险地区和重点地区。如果你有旅行或是流动计划，请一定及时通过邮件（或微信）告诉我们！(Please continue taking precautions to your protection and avoid unnecessary out-door activities. Avoid trips and visiting relatives or friends if possible, and restrain from traveling to crowded places and high- and medium-risk areas as well as the cities thereof. Please keep in touch with us, especially during this winter vacation from Jan. 12 to Feb.17, and if you have any traveling plan, please let us know via email or Wechat。)

2. 我们再次提醒大家：寒假期间，注意个人防护，出门戴口罩，勤洗手；尽量减少集体活动和外出；一定要遵守中国的法律法规！(We remind you here that it is good of wearing mask, washing hands frequently, reducing group activities and going out during the winter vacation. And also, please abide by Chinese laws and regulations!)
